Jeff Christie and his current band have
performed at several live shows over the past 15 years, most of
them in Germany, where there is a strong demand for "Oldie"
groups pop bands and acts of previous years who play their
classic hits on stage. Many of Jeff's shows have been shown on
German television.

In 1998, Jeff appeared on a German
TV show, singing San Bernadino.
He was sporting a ponytail, was backed by session musicians
instead of his regular band, and the compere showed the audience
a replica of Jeff's Union Jack shoes, which he wore regularly
when touring with Christie.

In 1997, Jeff's band surprised him
by bringing on Tremeloes member Len Hawkes to play on Yellow
River. Len was the bass player on the original single.
