The earliest known video of Christie
shows the original threesome Jeff, Vic and Mike
larking about next to a river, playing and singing along to the
song.
Interspersed among these shots are images of the
three members running along a road with yellow lines.
Jeff and Mike are also shown having a swim in the
river as Vic tries to row a boat.
FEEDBACK
Wow, if Jeff ever gets to San Bernardino, which
wasn't too far from my old home, please let us know. I'd like
to see and hear him and Chip Hawkes!

Grew up near Jeff in Moortown, Leeds, used to go watch his
band 'The Outer Limits' play in Harehills and other Yorkshire
towns, occasionally travelled in the back of their van to a club
in Harrogate. Look out for One More Chance
on Deram records

Never ages, Jeff, and neither does his songs better
than all the crap today. The best British rock group.

Jeff, I believe you knew in your mind and heart, this particular
song would be around for a long time because you were sending
a message to all of us around the world in reference to troops
from the wars of then and now. All we need to do now is understand
them! I applaud you! Thank You for Yellow
River!

I would love to see Jeff perform at least once in my lifetime.
Come to Texas in the United States! I have always loved your music!
That song (Yellow River) stays in
my mind all the time (along with your others, of course!)

Thank you, I just got sent back 37 years. Went through five
copies of the 45 and drove my parents nuts playing this song.
Even my friends got sick of me playing it. I think I'll send it
to a couple of my old pals.
